I’m always chiding myself for worrying, so it’s a relief to learn that perhaps there’s some point to my worry after all.

There is nothing wrong with occasional worries as long as they are put away in the drawer when we have registered and learnt from the … Says the master of grumpiness and occasional worries 😘😘

When I was a young adult I declared that when I was old I was going to be grumpy. When a friend asked why I said that I was tired of dealing with unpleasant people and by then I wouldn't care how my grumpiness made me feel.

Now that I am almost old, I have far fewer grumpy days than I did when I was young. I don't know what happened, but somewhere along the way I became a fairly content and happy person. I am a realist, though, not a Pollyana, so I feel safe from the pitfalls of positive thinking. Somehow I have learned to acknowledge the possibility of things going wrong, but it doesn't really worry me like it used to.
