Hee-hee! I've found a friend Jo. I am terribly impetuous, always doing things on the spur of the moment and without too much thinking - it doesn't always work out but mostly it does, I don't think I could be anything else now, I certainly can't see me changing at this age. Three cheers for impetuosity I say, it's much more fun!

Evening friend Lindsey! I couldn't agree more 😘

You will have the best time on the retreat. I’m so pleased you’re going (and wish I was too, but it’s not to be this year). The computer sounds like an excellent upgrade. A bit of impetuousness is needed in this unpredictable life xxx

I like to think I am mid-way between someone who "throws caution to the wind" (I really like that phrase) and someone who acts with an abundance of caution. But if I had to pick one, I suspect I would rather be thought of as someone who threw that caution up in the air and let it be carried away. Glad to have you back.

There is definitely something in that phrase it always makes me think of standing on a hill in windy sunshine laughing out loud having thrown a big floppy hat into the air 😁

I’m impetuous on some things and my husband on others. We seem to swap roles depending on who is leading the charge on the decision with the other acting as the sense checker. It works most of the time!

Sounds like pragmatic flexibility xx

Lovely post… ❤️ I miss my advisor too 😢 My late husband always had great advice and I miss those deep and meaningful conversations (I didn’t always listen to him though 😂).

It would not be right to have listened to them all the time. I still ask him 😁😢😘

Such a good post.

Like you, I'm impetuous too, although I still have someone who is rational and sensible by my side. But if I was sadly alone, I suspect I would bang on, testing Fate dangerously and incautiously and having a good time doing it! Onwards!

It mostly works, I didn’t always listen to John. But he was quick to say I told you so 😁

Loved this post, Jo. Hurrah for impetuosity! I throw myself headlong into my latest wild idea while at the same time often struggling to leave the house. Thankfully I have my sidekick and partner-in-crime for guidance and encouragement - otherwise I’d’ve painted the interior of the house bright orange and padlocked the door from the inside. Sending love!

Nothing wrong with bright orange.… I wasn’t allowed either 😂
